This award has been presented in recognition of an outstanding example of lighting installation design.
b. NZIA Resene Colour Award for Architecture, 2001
Colour has been used in this complex both to enhance the sense of excitement and event in the interiors, as well as to identify the large number of different activities taking place within it. Colour is used to set a tone which invites entry and exploration. The architect’s use of colour to communicate and express ideas of variety and entertainment is a fundamentally important element in the design of this building.

For best residential in Waikato division of NZIA, for house design in the over one million dollar plus range.
b. NZIA Resene National NZ Award In Residential for Architecture, 2005
Three dissimilar forms are used to suggest a prior occupation of a hilltop. Those containing accommodation and recreational activities support a beautifully composed living space that uses carefully detailed materials to create great living spaces with a thoughtful engagement in passive environmental control.

NZIA Auckland District Branch Awards Programme, MERIT for Architectural Interiors, 1983
Won an International GOA Competition to create a major Film Festival Centre in India. Cinema stage is now completed by Walker Architects and Walker Interior was contracted by INOX Leisure Limited India to do the interior design for this complex.
Our scheme and the local Chinese company’s scheme were selected as the first and second best schemes out of 60 schemes submitted to the competition (Project is on hold).
